Once the reinforcement struts are in place, I bend and miter the rear cross member. Here it is very important to make the bends not only the correct angle but also the correct distance apart. If the bends are piece is as little as 1/2mm wide or too narrow, it will sit slightly below or above the top plane of the rack.
